With the release of the new iPad 3 today developers have been busy updating their apps to take advantage of the iPad’s high-resolution Retina Display. Third-party developers have only had a short time to improve their apps in order to make the most of the iPad’s eye-catching display.
Apple’s own apps were updated in advance of the release their new tablet. The selected apps can be purchased and browsed through iTunes, if you already own a previous version updates can be directly download from the iPad App Store app. Most of the apps have increased in size for example Keynote has gone from 115MB to 327MB and iMovie has gone from 70MB to a huge 404MB.
