QualiTest UK are part of the QualiTest group of companies and are the second largest pure play QA and software testing company in the world. As part of the on-going growth and development of the company across the UK and India a new platform and knowledge management solution were needed. After working with QualiTest for over 8 years Mark Burgess (HW Technology) and Chris White (Finance Director and Interim CEO) discussed options on how these requirements could be met. After working through the existing systems it was decided that QualiTest UK and India would migrate to Office 365 for email, web conferencing and knowledge management, alongside a hosted desktop solution for the management team in the UK.
What we did…
Over the course of a two month period the services were moved in a managed fashion over to Office 365 specifically for email and a new SharePoint intranet that is used for knowledge management. Once this was completed a private hosted desktop solution provisioned by HW Technology was deployed. This provided a central desktop environment for the key management team to work from. The platform included Microsoft Office and accountancy software and covered off the backup and disaster recovery needs for the core company data.
