Blenheims group are a property and lettings management company with offices in Devon, Bristol and central London. The business has grown rapidly over the last 3 years and now has over 70 staff split between offices. HW Technology have worked with the company for over 6 years and just over 3 years ago a new system was required to help the business cope with the expansion across all sites and a acquisition which would increase staff numbers by an additional 20.
What we did…
Mike Rutland (Group Chairman) and Mark Burgess (HW Technology) discussed the existing systems and how best to replace after working well for the previous few years. It became apparent that a single standard platform providing the same applications, data and email systems would be the most beneficial way to move forward. After refining the requirements and looking at the anticipated expansion it was recommended that a private hosted desktop system and hosted exchange email platform would meet those requirements. After the project started all applications and data were checked for compatibility with the hosted desktop environment, on completion of this phase a test system was deployed and used by Arcturus to check everything worked as expected. After signing off the testing phase the platform was fully deployed and a staged migration of each office was undertaken. This included the main line of business application, email and standard office data. On completion the organisation had a single platform for all services which allows staff to work at any site at any time
